If you're looking for a way to beat the winter blues (or, more accurately, grays), check out Magic Mountain Fun Center. We visited the Polaris location last night, and the kids couldn't have been happier. I've driven by the place several times and tend to think of it as only offering outdoor activities. But inside are some fun discoveries. Like the giant climbing structure (which is a bargain on Tuesdays, when all kids ages 1-6 are just $2.50). There is a rather large arcade, too, and it looks like there is plenty of space to host parties. Even if we don't have a party there this year, we'll be sure to head back when the weather warms up; early bird mini golf on Saturdays and Sundays is only $2 a person. Now if only those gray skies would move on out.
